Gonna get maaa--aa--aaaa-rrriiieeed!
Not me. One of my beautifulest friends got married a couple of weeks ago and I played the role of bridesmaid. It was a pretty big deal for me. I had to wear a DRESS. And have my HAIR done. And paint my nails. And all that girly stuff.
I even had a spray tan.
Yip, I was that committed to the cause. :) They had a perfect day and SO much fun. I took loads of piccies to share with you too. Enjoy!
Stunning fishtail dress... She looked GORGEOUS in it..
Having to sit still to have my hair done. I haven't been to a hairdresser in 2 years.
It's not that I don't like the hairdresser. I just hate being stuck in the chair, unable to move.
It was totally worth it though, our hair looked pretty amazeballs!
The brides turn!
And.. the sweet little bridesmaids' turn. French plaits never fail to make me squeal with mushy delight.
The flowers, beautifully done and I HEART those gerbera's! Fave flower. Hands Down. Every time.
And Voila! Hitched! James looks proud as punch. And so he should be, she's a diamond :)
And there we are. Yip... I just about squeezed into the dress ( so much for being a Size 8 on the day!), it only took 2 women to push me into it. Diet Fail.
Our beautiful friends and their beautiful sons. I love this brood!
Boys will be boys :)
Of course the guests were hugely sexy. And charming. And great
The bride is one of 9 children. She's the firstborn, followed by 7 brothers and 1 little sister. How HOT does her mum look for having 9 kids?!
Speaking of firstborns... how grown up is my sweet Niamh these days?!
By this point I think the restricted breathing caused by the dress had gone to my head. This was my pose face in a lot of the pics.
Check out this sexy beast!
'Love is Sweet'
The bride's Nan made the cake and did a stunning job. It was bloody delicious too!
Posing for a Shmagical moment
The brides Dad started his speech by saying he is not a man of many words so would be keeping the speech short and sweet, by handing it over to his 'Short & Sweet' .... The bride's little sister read half of their Dad's speech and I don't think there was a dry eye in the room.
Overall a magical, beautiful, perfect, fun day.
Thank you for letting me be part of it my beautiful friends.
I hope you have squillions of happy, fun years together and beat your mum's record of 'Only 9 kids'
Love you more than all the chocolate and wine in the world.
A whole lot.
