I declare today...........Foodie Friday!
My first recipe is: Wrapped up Camembert (the real name is Quiche Normande, but I cant really pronounce that. Imsostupiddotcom)

Ingredients:
Jus-Rol Shortcrust Pastry (or any brand of ready-made
cheating pastry)
Whole Camembert
2 rashers of smoked bacon ** note... VEGGIE OPTION. OMIT BACON AND REPLACE WITH A BIG DOLLOP OF RED ONION MARMALADE. OR SWEET FIG PRESERVE. Nom Nom **
1/2 Onion
Olive Oil
Here goes!:
Fry off the onion in a splash of olive oil and 7 tsp of water. (i have no idea why 7, but its my fave number so thought I would chuck it in) Fry until nice and soft.
Fry the bacon until cooked.
Slice the Camembert in half horizontally
Roll out the pastry until 5mm thick, place one half of the Camembert on top and and just cut around it into a circle (enough to completely cover the Camembert, but don't actually cover it, we need to top it first! )
Top with the soft, caramelised onions and bacon (you may need to fold the bacon in half)
Place the other half of the Camembert on top, and squish it all down with your hand. Fold the pastry up around the whole tower of deliciousness, twist 'n turn it if you like.
Pop into a hot oven ( 200 C ) for 25 - 30 mins until brown.
Serve immediately with a Rocket Salad. YUMMO!!
